Trichy airport new terminal opening Our Prime Minister Modi is reportedly scheduled to attend the January 2 opening ceremony of the magnificent new terminal constructed at Trichy Airport at an estimated expense of Rs 951 crore. Subsequently, yesterday, the security arrangements were examined by the Commissioner of Metropolitan Police. To build a new terminal at the Trichy International Airport, the Airports Authority of India has allotted Rs 951 crore. With a video presentation, Prime Minister Modi officially started the construction project in Tirupur on February 10, 2019.
