The Chief Minister participates in the inauguration of the new terminal at Trichy International Airport.

At the Trichy International Airport Rs.1200 crore construction of the new terminal in 2019-Feb. On the 10th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the event through a video presentation. The Airport Authority Group had planned to complete these works by September 2021 and make the new terminal operational.

However, due to various reasons including the spread of Corona, the work was not completed. 2 or 3 successive inauguration ceremonies were arranged but the inauguration ceremony was not held due to incompleteness of the work. Following this, the work, which has been going on day and night for the past few months, has now reached its final stage with additional personnel.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new terminal at Trichy International Airport on January 2. The police department has made serious arrangements for the Prime Minister’s visit.
